A new addition to the comprehensive range of Megger Oil Test Sets, the measures Tan Delta, resistivity and relative permittivity of insulating oils.
The OTD is a fully automated tester and comes loaded with a set of international test standards.
As well as the international set of standards, the OTD supports up to six customer configurable test sequences.
Productivity in the laboratory is maximised, with the focus on reducing the test cycle time by fan cooling and inductive heating, together with an oil drain facility, negating the need to move the oil vessel.
The OTD has a 12 key alpha-numeric keypad to facilitate entry of test ID, filenames, notes, etc.
The OTS60SX is a lightweight, semi-automatic, oil dielectric strength test set. The instrument is suitable for field use and is powered from a range of line voltages. The maximum 60 kV output allows tests to be performed on oil from a wide variety of electrical installations including transformers, circuit breakers and other equipment.
Megger’s automatic laboratory oil test sets perform accurate breakdown voltage tests on mineral, ester and silicon insulating liquids. Moulded test vessels give repeatable results with lock in precision electrode gap setting adjustment wheels. The transparent, shielded lid and large test chamber enable easy access to the test vessel.
All three laboratory models are fitted with a 12 key alphanumeric keypad to facilitate entry of test ID, filenames, notes etc. Alpha characters are entered by repetitive pressing on a key, the same way as text is entered modern cellular telephones.
